New additions have been added to the line-up at Hampton Court's long-awaited summer festival.

Nile Rodgers & CHIC have been added to the line-up for Hampton Court Palace Festival and an extra Tom Jones date has been added.

Tickets for both artists' shows go on sale tomorrow from 10am on the show's website.

The organisers said: "We are thrilled to announce that good times are definitely here as the legendary Nile Rodgers & CHIC will be joining our 2021 line up this August.

"Due to exceptional demand, we are also pleased to announce a third Tom Jones performance has been added, Saturday 21 August."

"Exclusive pre-sale access will be available from 10am April 22 for both Nile Rodgers & CHIC and the new Tom Jones date. Make sure to set your alarms and check your emails so you don't miss out!"

World renowned singer-songwriter Van Morrison will open the festival on Friday August 13, and alternative-rock group Keane will take the Thursday 19 August slot. Limited tickets are still available for these shows.

Van Morrison and Keane join other headliners Tom Jones, Bastille Reorchestrated and ABBA parody group Bjorn Again at the festival.

Bjorn Again will play on August 14, Bastile Reorchestrated on August 17 and 18 and Tom Jones will close the festival on August 23 and 24.

Organisers decided to move the annual festival from June to August 2021 after the government announced its roadmap out of lockdown.
