About the role/school

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher to join a co-educational primary academy for ages 4-11 in Twickenham. The school promotes an inclusive, ambitious ethos where children are encouraged to be curious, confident, and resilient. With a broad, well-sequenced curriculum covering core subjects alongside art, music, languages, and computing, pupils make strong academic progress while developing personally.

As a Year 3 Class Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring children, fostering their love of learning, and supporting their overall development.

Job Responsibilities

As a Year 3 Class Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons for Year 3 pupils.

  • Supporting pupils' academic progress and personal development.

  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure pupils' needs are met.

  • Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.

Qualifications/Experience

To succeed as a Year 3 Class Teacher, you should have:

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Experience teaching in primary education is desirable but not essential

  • A passion for inspiring children and helping them reach their full potential
