Find things to do in Twickenham

Co-operate is an online community centre bringing people in Twickenham together to make good things happen.

Whether you want to find things to do, volunteer, join a group or set up your own – it’s for people who care about their community and want to join forces to get things done.

Co-operate helps build stronger communities where people are more connected. There are over 20,000 people, including 11,000 groups, sharing ways to get involved and support each other.

Created with local communities, by local communities and for local communities.

You can find out about and get involved with local groups, such as Food For Thought Heathfield, a fantastic not-for-profit group which raises awareness about food waste and ensures no-one goes hungry.

Every Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning the volunteers run a food stall in Heathfield, offering food to visitors and a welcoming community space.
Three local Co-ops support the group through their Foodshare partnership, donating their unsold stock to the surplus food market, which feeds anyone in need of food via pop-up stalls on Heathfield recreation ground.
You can use Co-operate to get free tips and advice from our ‘How to ’ guides for example, how to start socialising again, how to create a gardening group and how to apply for funding.
You can also list or join local groups and activities, recruit volunteers or volunteer yourself.
