Three major pub operators have announced which of their pubs are to reopen in Twickenham as soon as government guidelines allow.
They will be able to open pub gardens from this date before opening fully in May as part of the roadmap out of the Covid-19 lockdown.
Fullers pubs opening on April 12:
- Cabbage Patch
- Prince Albert
- Prince Blucher
- Turk's Head
- Barmy Arms
- Alexander Pope
- The Crown
Greene King chief executive Nick Mackenzie said: "It's great that we can finally open outdoor areas in some of our pubs after such a long period of lockdown and we can't wait to start welcoming our customers back, safely."
In England the earliest dates for hospitality reopening are:
- April 12: Restaurants and pub gardens will be allowed to serve customers sitting outdoors - including alcohol; customers can meet in a group of up to six people from different households; a maximum of two households can meet to form a group of any size
- May 17: Hospitality venues can seat customers indoors; parties can be made up of a maximum of six people or two households of any size; groups seated outside must be smaller than 30 people
- June 21: All restrictions will be lifted, and nightclubs will be allowed to re-open.
