UPDATE: Missing 13-year-olds from Twickenham found 'safe and well'

Police update at 9pm: "Thanks to all those who shared our earlier appeal for information about Poppy and Lily Myers who are missing from Twickenham. We believe the girls were in contact with friends earlier today and would urge those friends, or their parents, to contact us."

Two teenage twin sisters have gone missing from their home in Twickenham.

Police today issued an appeal for the public's help in finding them.

The force said: "13 year old twin sisters, Poppy and Lily Myers are missing from their home in #Twickenham.

"They were last seen at home on the April 3 and are thought to have travelled to Hillingdon.

"Call 999 if you see them and quote 21MIS009226 for Poppy and 21MIS009223 for Lily."

Poppy

Poppy has blondish, shoulder length hair, is 5'02"tall, is of slim build.

She was last seen on April 3 at home in Twickenham wearing a long, white coat and knee-length riding boots.

Lily

Lily has brown hair, is 5'02" tall, and of slim build.

She was last seen on April 3 at her home in Twickenham wearing black platform boots and black trousers.
