Twickenham's Christmas Lights will be turned on for all to see on Friday 22 November.

The first light up event will be on Twickenham Green with the Christmas tree being turned on at 4.30pm, preceded from 4pm by carols sung by Twickenham Primary Academy and from the choir of Twickenham Green Baptist Church.

Join the Mayor of Richmond and the Harlequins Mascots.

Fifty free children's gift bag will be handed out at the event.

The second event will be on Heath Road outside the MKG 3000 Mazda dealership with the tree being turned on at 5.15pm preceded by carols from 4.45pm, sung by the choir of Twickenham Green Baptist Church.

The main event will be at the junction of King Street / Water Lane / Church Street starting from 3.00pm, with Riverside Radio broadcasting and various musical entertainment including a young band from Powerjam Band Project, Step on Stage children's choir, Brass Band and a Gospel Choir till 7pm with the tree and lights across Twickenham being turned on at 6.00pm by the Mayor of Richmond with the Harlequin Mascots in attendance.

Face painting from 4pm-7pm at Patch, 42 York Street.

Get along to the Christmas Market from 2pm until 8pm and for face painting at Patch, 42 York Street .
