Burst water main sparks emergency roadworks on Staines Road in Twickenham

Emergency works are under way on Staines Road, Twickenham after a burst water main was reported outside 223 Staines Road, near the junction with Fifth Cross Road.

Thames Water engineers are currently on site, with traffic being managed by two-way temporary signals. These are being manually controlled to help maintain traffic flow.

The works are expected to continue until 19 November.

Richmond Council said: "Please do not assume that someone else has phoned it in. Please do not report these to the Council. The following free phone numbers should be used to report leaks."
