Jenny Harris, the Co-Founder and Trustee of the bereavement charity space2grieve, has been named as one of 500 Coronation Champions.

The awards were launched by Camilla, the Queen Consort, in partnership with the Royal Voluntary Service.

They are designed to celebrate extraordinary volunteers who go the extra mile to improve the lives of others.

The group, space2grieve, offers specialist support to children and young people including in person 'Parenting Through Grief' sessions for parents.

Jenny, who spent many years of volunteering in the bereavement sector, has worked tirelessly to set up space2grieve, a local charity, which provides free support to all Richmond residents who have been bereaved, 'no matter when, no matter how'.

Support is in the form of one-to-one sessions at the ETNA Community Centre, or face-to-face in school, or at home remotely on the phone or via zoom.

If you would like to learn more about the support on offer, contact space2grieve on 0751 937 6363 or via email at [email protected]

Jenny has been invited to attend the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle on Sunday, May 7.
