Darren Bingham is in police custody and has been charged with four offences of fraud by false representation, according to a police statement on social media.

He is due to appear at West London Magistrates Court today.

He's been served with a Community Protection Notice, with numerous conditions;

- Not to enter the London Borough of Richmond except for certain agreed appointments

- Not to knock on any door or enter any part of any residential premises not known to him within the Metropolitan District

The police statement also says: "There are numerous other conditions in relation to begging and associated behaviours.

"A criminal behaviour order is currently being applied for to mitigate the behaviour that has affected local residents."
