Does your Twickenham sports organisation need a financial leg-up in these challenging times?

Teddington-based community group SporTedd may be able to help.

We've already given donated over £20,000 locally to help to buy much-needed kit and equipment for schools and charities with a sports theme.

SporTedd was set up two years ago by a group of local businessmen and women with the aim of supporting the community and sports activities.

Money is raised through an annual subscription and special dinner events at local venues with well-known guest speakers which have included:

  • Lord (Sebastian) Coe, Sir Clive Woodward
  • the chief executive of the England and Wales Cricket Board, Tom Harrison
  • round the world record-breaking sailor Tracey Edwards
  • Olympic skier Chemmy Alcott
  • former Manchester United and Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon
  • the commercial director of the Wimbledon Championships Mick Desmond
  • top international rugby referee Wayne Barnes
  • the chief executive of the RFU Bill Sweeney
  • England rugby legend Jason Leonard

Funds have also been raised through auctions and raffles with great prizes and items.

If you would like to learn more about SporTedd with a view to joining or you would like to explore the possibility of financial support please go to www.sportedd.co.uk
