Drivers are being advised to expect delays in Twickenham as Thames Water carries out urgent repair works on Heath Road, near the junction with Lion Road.

The works are in response to a 'defective asset' in the carriageway which has been identified as a hazard to users.

Multiway traffic signals have been installed and are being manually controlled to help manage traffic flow as efficiently as possible.

However, disruption to journey times is likely while the works are ongoing.

The repairs are expected to be completed by tomorrow (Friday, 11 July).

For further information or to report issues, residents can contact Thames Water on 0800 316 9800.
