Emergency gas works cause delays on Heath Road in Twickenham

Richmond Council has announced that emergency works are being carried out on Heath Road, Twickenham, due to a gas escape.

Cadent Gas are attending an emergency gas escape in the carriageway at the junction with Colne Road (Tesco Express).

The Council said traffic is being managed by multi-way temporary traffic signals, which are being manually controlled to optimise traffic flow; however, delays to journey times are to be expected.

It estimates that the works will be completed by 4 December.

The Council also said that to report water leaks call 0800 714 614 and for gas leaks call 0800 111 999.
