Richmond Council has announced that emergency roadworks are taking place on Crown Road, Twickenham, following a valve failure and water leak.

The Council said:"Thames Water are attending an emergency valve repair and associated water leak in the carriageway on Crown Road, junction with Hartington Road, Twickenham. Traffic is being managed by multi-way temporary traffic signals."

The works are expected to cause some disruption to local traffic, with motorists advised to allow extra time for their journeys.

The estimated completion date for the works is Monday 3 November 2025.
