The Fishermans Hut in Hampton Road could be become a nursery as Fennies Nurseries looks to expand to Twickenham.

A planning application from the group reveals proposals for three separate signs, two of which are on the main Inn building and the third on the former stable block building.

Today the site is occupied by the former Nelson Inn and its converted former stable block.

The two signs on the main building will replace previous signage which was in place during the building's previous use as a restaurant.

There are currently 20 Fennies branches across London and Greater London with the nursery planning to build a further five (including the Hampton Road branch).

On its website, Fennies Nurseries state: "Fennies has been a pioneer in educational excellence for over 30 years.

"We cater to the unique needs of every child as they journey from little Explorers (3mths) to Inventors (5yrs), thriving at every developmental stage.

"We embrace their wonder, ignite their imagination, and ensure everyday is an adventure!"
