Guinness supply assured as Six Nations heads to Twickenham
Guinness has ring-fenced a supply of the popular stout ahead of the return of the Six Nations to Twickenham this weekend, with some 82,000 fans heading to town.
The Telegraph has reported the brewery has ensured the national stadium will not run dry this weekend as England host France on Saturday (February 8) at the Allianz Stadium.
Nationwide shortages have seen pubs limiting punters from purchasing too many Guinness's, while others have been selling other stouts at 'Guiness prices' over the winter.
But the national newspaper has revealed both the England games at Twickenham and the racing at Cheltenham over the coming weeks are being prioritised by the brewery.
Guinness is a major sponsor of the Six Nations.
Road closures will also impact locals in Twickenham over the coming weeks ahead of each fixture.
Full details can be found on the Richmond Council website.
As well as France on Saturday, the England men's team will host Scotland on February 22 and Italy on March 9, while the women's team will return to the home of English rugby in April.
