Hard work and excellence recognised with award nomination for bespoke jewellery business, Mill & Way, of Eel Pie Island

By Rory Poulter 16th Nov 2021

Mill & Way, the bespoke jewellery design business founded from studios on Eel Pie Island, Twickenham, has been nominated for a prestigious award.

The founders, Natalie Cole and Abi Holloway, have been recognised by the Professional Jeweller Magazine, which has nominated their business in the 'Best New Store 2021' category.

Having spent the last year creating, reviewing and improving their business plan, Mill & Way has formed a unique business, which offers a luxury range of high end jewellery of better value and quality than competitors.

The team is driven by excellence - excellent jewellery, excellent customer service and excellent value.

From the moment a customer engages with the jewellery design business, they are met with an exceptional arrangement of pictures, stories and features on their website and Instagram.

At the same time, expert staff offer outstanding service and knowledge of the range of rings, necklaces and earrings.

Visitors to their studio on the stunning Eel Pie Island are wooed by the modern yet intimate showroom for a two hour appointment. During these private appointments every consideration is taken into account to ensure that any engagement ring or bespoke piece meets the buyer's exact requirements.

The awards ceremony takes place on December 14 at the prestigious De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms. The team has their fingers crossed that they end 2021 with an award for all of their hard work, resilience and customer focus.

Mill & Way chose Eel Pie Island, which has a rich cultural history, over other options such as Wimbledon and Kingston.

It played a pivotal role in British music history as a venue for the early performances of greats from The Rolling Stones to a teenage David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton, the Who and Pink Floyd, and today it has been redefined as a cultural and creative hub.

The many creative ventures that call it home can be seen first-hand when the Island opens up to the public for the Eel Pie Open Studios on December 4 and 5.

Mill & Way will be opening up their workshop in the boat yard area to give the community a real insight into how their jewellery is made and the level of love and care that goes into making personalised, high end pieces.
