It is the biggest event of the summer with dozens of acts set to perform across 18 stages and venues.
The High Tide Festival on the riverside at Twickenham and across many other sites including pubs and The Exchange is expected to attract thousands of music lovers and families.
And the mainly outdoor event, which runs on Sunday afternoon through to the evening, is set to be a scorcher – not least because temperatures are predicted to peak at well over 30C.
It is a free to attend, not for profit community festival that provides a showcase for many acts from this area, which has long been a cradle for musical talent, dating back to the 1960s.
At the same time, there will lots of food and drink options with a number of local brews on offer at an event made possible by support from many local businesses, donations via a crowdfunding scheme and Richmond Borough Council.
High Tide is the brainchild of Phil Penman and Kevin Jones , who together run the successful Eel Pie Records on Church Street.
Kevin said the idea for the record shop and then the Festival emerged from what he called 'a four pint conversation'.
"Having got Eel Pie Records up and running, we thought we'd have a crack at making the Festival dream a reality," he said.
That first Festival in 2019 was a huge success, however the pandemic and lockdowns then closed down all cultural events through 2020.
Last year, the Festival bounced back with performances across eight stages, but this year it has ballooned in size to offer shows across 18 stages.
The event kicks off at 12.30pm on Sunday at the Brewery Market main stage with Sonic Daze, followed by sets from Endless Digital Birthdays, the Awale Jant Band, All Day Breakfast Café, KEG and finally Hollie Cook.
The Foxtons Basement Door Stage has a packed bill of 12 performance from young names such as The Presidents, Bring the Angels, The Ariston and Gretel Hanlyn.
This year, the Brewery Market will host a mix of music and spoken word shows featuring powerhouse poets such as Tyrone Lewis and Nick Goodall.
Pubs hosting shows include The Eel Pie Pub, The Cabbage Patch, the Royal Oak, and The Barmy Arms.
The Exchange hosts acts through the afternoon and a paid for ticket show in the evening headlined by Martin Stephenson & The Daintees.
Among the many other venues participating are The Twickenham Club, The Shack, Wags 'n Tails, Heatham House, Orleans House Gallery, St Mary's Church. There is also a live jazz with a line-up that includes Jackson Mathod and the Mark Kavuma Banger Factory.
