Twickenham Stadium is to be converted into a 9-hole golf course.
However, lovers of the oval ball game have been reassured it is only a temporary measure.
For the first time in history, golf will be played on the hallowed turf for some four days in June for an event welcoming all abilities.
Players will tee off from specially constructed platforms in the stadium ball with a scoring system that rewards those who get closest to the flag on each green.
In addition to the 9-hole course, players will also have access to The Clubhouse, plus plenty of other options to add on, including golf simulators, a putting and chipping challenge, hitting platform and even tours of the England Changing Rooms.
The event is designed for all skill levels from avid weekend golfers to those who have never picked up a club before!
There is no time limit to complete the round, however it is expected to take between an hour and a half and two hours.
All golfers will receive 18 balls, with the option to purchase enhanced packages that include extra balls, access to golf simulators and various food and drink offerings. Bookings can be made for a maximum of eight golfers per tee time.
The organisers have issued a warning that people who have trouble with heights or stairs may need to think carefully as the course involves a lot of walking and steps.
Please be aware, this course involves a lot of walking, steps and lift uses, as well as tee off at height.
While those who have a favourite pitching wedge or nine iron are being warned they have to rely on the clubs provided by the event organisers, rather than bringing their own clubs.
There are three levels of package, depending on what extras people want in terms of food and tours, starting at £90 per person, rising to £270 each, which includes a la carte meal and wine.
