Introducing brand-new sponsors for Twickenham Nub News - luxury jewellery showroom Mill & Way!

Mill & Way is a new and unique jewellers, specialising in engagement rings and bespoke pieces, located in the heart of Twickenham.
It is based in a showroom and workshop on Eel Pie Island, which has become a creative and cultural hub, providing a home to 26 independent artists and their studios.
As a business established in the Twickenham community, they are a perfect partner for Nub News; helping us to produce our locally relevant and engaging content.
The aim of Mill & Way is to put the romance back into buying an engagement ring – moving it from being a transactional process into an event driven by love.
The start-up was created by business partners Natalie Cole, who is the Operations Director, and Abi Hollaway, the Creative Director.
Abi, who is renowned as an independent designer and maker of fine jewellery, has exhibited her work at The Goldsmiths Hall and the Design Centre.
Natalie, who has a 15-year background in the aviation industry, had a passion to work for herself and became entranced by the luxury jewellery industry.
Natalie said: "Buying an engagement ring can be an incredibly stressful and challenging experience. Many customers feel out of their depth and are often taken advantage of through pressured sales environments and confusing sales jargon.
"With so much misrepresentation and misinformation it is easy for customers to be misled into purchasing a diamond ring that is overpriced, of low quality and which may ultimately not be what the customer was looking for. This often leads to the diamond ring not being suitable for daily wear."
All of Mill & Way ring designs are their own and have the environment and ethical principles in mind. Materials such as Fair Trade gold, conflict-free diamonds and ethically sourced gemstones are the cornerstone of their design process.
The company also offers, one off, made to order and unique bespoke pieces of jewellery. These include necklaces, earrings, wedding bands, bracelets, cufflinks and other unique pieces.
The team can also upcycle inherited but unworn family pieces to create a new one-off future heirloom, which reflects new fashions and trends - something which is growing in popularity.
Creative Director, Abi, said: "For those customers who wish to go that one step further and create a truly unique bespoke design for their loved one, we have the skills to make that entirely possible.
"We will create a perfect piece of jewellery through our bespoke process of hand design and computer aided design technology."
Mill & Way is a true gem nestled in the heart of Twickenham that is truly living up to its purpose - bringing romance back to jewellery.
Nub News is delighted to be teaming up with Mill & Way and excited to shared more of their incredibly impressive work with the Twickenham community.
The Nub News chief executive, Karl Hancock, said: "We are very excited to be teaming up with Mill & Way. What better partner to have than someone who lives and works in the town that we serve?"
