A law graduate from St Mary's University, Twickenham, accused of stabbing her fiancé to death has been remanded in custody.

Blaze Wallace, aged 27, is charged with murdering 34-year-old Samuel Mayo in Lower Richmond Road, Richmond-upon-Thames, on July 18 this year.

On Tuesday, Wallace, of Lower Richmond Road, appeared at the Old Bailey for a preliminary hearing.

Judge Alexia Durran set a plea hearing for October 11 and a provisional trial from June 11 2023.

The defendant was remanded into custody.

As she was led from the dock, a supporter in the public gallery shouted: 'Love you Blazey'. Wallace replied 'Love you all too.'
