August 2022: Talented students from London, including Barnet, Kew, Putney and Twickenham are embarking on the annual two-week Stagecoach Summer Showcase. After a fortnight immersed in learning and rehearsals, the students will put on four show-stopping performances of "The Addams Family" musical at the historic Beck Theatre on the 12th and 13th of August.

The students will have the opportunity to perform the full production of fan favourites including, "Full Disclosure", "Pulled" and "When You're an Addams", as the character of Wednesday Addams finds love in the world-renowned classic tale of family fun and comedy for all to enjoy.

Among the budding stars are several international students that have travelled across the world to take part in the event. Some students have flown from schools from Malta, Germany and Australia. These students will get the chance to absorb and hone their performing arts skills with a professional creative team.

This follows a variety of amazing performances by Stagecoach schools throughout the year, as many students missed out on performing live in 2020. The international production offers local students a chance to come together, learn and perform with students from all across the world. Performing arts helps build on their creativity, courage and skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Three performances will be open to the public, with a fourth available for family and staff. To book tickets, go to https://becktheatre.org.uk/Online/tickets-spa-the-addams-family-hayes-2022

Director Gary Jerry has said:

"To be working on Stagecoach's Flagship Production as Director is an absolute honour. Our amazing Creative team are delighted that this year's process brings together an incredible amount of talented and diverse young performers from all over the world, coming together to create thought-changing theatre and making memorable life experiences for all".

Stagecoach Perth, Australia, Principal Serena has said:

"Jessica is a great student with a fantastic voice. She worked extremely hard on her audition and we are so very proud that she was selected to be a part of such an amazing experience. We believe that Jessica will return to Australia in August elated and fulfilled for having been through such a great experience and having had the opportunity to work with other Stagecoach students from around the world. As soon as she lands back in Australia, there's no rest as she will launch herself straight back into our musical here in Perth which we present on stage on 10/9 and 17/9/22!"

Stagecoach Mainz, Germany, Principal Olga has said:

"I am incredibly proud of our students Emilie and Ben who applied again for the Summer Showcase and passed the casting. They are wonderful and bring an open heart to England and make friends for life. I wish them a safe journey and a wonderful unforgettable experience that they will carry back to us with their enthusiasm."

Stagecoach Malta Principals Edward and Marika said:

"The Summer Showcase is just an amazing event that brings Stagecoach students from around the world to work together with top professional creatives in a professional setting. It ticks so many boxes at the same time. Cherry on the cake is that we are always super proud of our Maltese students who have cut the mustard, year in year out, since we started Stagecoach in Malta."

Stagecoach Performing Arts reported a ten per cent rise in student enrolments since 2019, and prides itself on building Creative Courage For Life® among students.
