London Square outlines next phase of Twickenham Green development

Developer London Square has revealed that it has installed drainage and made progress with road construction, including the addition of tarmac at Twickenham Green.
In its monthly update for residents, London Square also detailed upcoming works on the site, which include the construction of foundations for Block G behind Gould Road and the installation of a crane.
Following a welfare review, the developer plans to introduce two new additions to the site which were not in the original Construction Management Statement (CMS).
These will be added to an updated CMS and submitted to the Council for approval.
One of the additions is an on-site canteen for staff, while the crane is expected to be installed on Friday, 19 September.

London Square said: "This facility [on-site canteen] will provide cooked meals to operatives.
"It will help limit the number of workers leaving the site during their break, as well as minimising the potential for nuisance in the local area.
"The crane will not operate outside the site boundaries and above neighbouring homes, and a restrictor will prevent it from rotating towards the river and Network Rail."
The developer also confirmed it is setting up CCTV cameras along the site boundaries "for the purpose of site security", adding that they will not record or monitor any areas outside the site.

London Square further plans to demolish an abandoned building at 75 Norcutt Road as part of the development. The land will then be used as temporary material storage.
The site team is due to hold an event for residents to ask questions on Wednesday, 24 September, between 4pm and 6pm at Twickenham United Reformed Church, First Cross Road.
