Maintenance work to begin on Twickenham Green next week

Chestnut trees on Twickenham Green will soon be fenced off to allow the soil to recover.

The council said: "Scheduled maintenance works will begin on Twickenham Green next week.

"Fencing will be erected around several chestnut trees for the period of one month to give the soil a chance to rest and recover."
