Man Charged with murder following fatal stabbing in Twickenham

Detectives have named a man who died in a stabbing in south-west London as they charge another man with murder.

Harpal Singh Roopra, 38, died after being found with stab wounds in Ellerman Avenue, Twickenham, at 11.39pm on Saturday, 26 April.

His family continue to be supported by specially trained officers.

George Luka, 45, of Ellerman Avenue, Twickenham, was charged today (Monday, 28 April) with murder.

He will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court later this morning.
