Man found dead at Twickenham Primary School

A man in his fifties has died after being found unresponsive at a Twickenham Primary School this morning.

Police were called to St James Roman Catholic Primary School on Stanley Road at 6.40am this morning (December 6). 

In a statement on social media, Richmond Police said: "Police were called at 06:40hrs on Wednesday, 6 December by London Ambulance Service to St James Primary School, Stanley Road, Twickenham after a male was found unresponsive.

"The male, aged in his 50s, was pronounced deceased at the scene."

They added: "The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

"His next of kin has been made aware.

"Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased at this time."
