UPDATE: Cannabis plants found in flats above Twickenham restaurant after blaze

'Several' cannabis plants were found by emergency services investigating a fire in Twickenham this weekend.
The discovery was made following the fire at the building home to Locanda Luna on Sunday, 17 August.
While searching for potential victims, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) made the discovery in the flats above the restaurant.
The plants are not thought to be linked to the restaurant, the Metropolitan Police said.
Parts of the ground and first floors were damaged, with the fire deemed "accidental".
The brigade confirmed the blaze started in the building's ducting.
A Met Police spokesperson told Nub News: "Officers were called at 10.51hrs by the London Fire Brigade on Sunday, 17 August to a fire at a restaurant on York Street, Twickenham.
"Searching the scene for potential victims, London Fire Brigade officers discovered several cannabis plants in the same building.
"Enquiries continue and no arrests have been made. If you have any information that could help police, please call 101 quoting CAD 2749/17Aug."
A force spokesperson subsequently added: "At this stage there does not appear to be a link between the cannabis plants and the restaurant."
Locanda Luna has been approached for comment.
