A person has been struck by a train on the rail line at Mortlake this afternoon.

"Trains may be cancelled, delayed, or revised because of this problem."

The Twickenham MP, Munira Wilson, alerted travellers on Twitter, saying: "Anyone local to Richmond/Twickenham trying to use trains this afternoon, they've all been stopped due to a passenger sadly being struck by a train at Mortlake. You will need to find an alternative route.
