A new gym is opening in a former snooker hall in central Twickenham.

PureGym is occupying the old Riley's premises near the traffic lights on the corner of Heath Road.

Membership is available from £14.99 and residents can sign up today.

The new gym will open on Tuesday, April 13 at noon, a day after gyms across the country are allowed to reopen under the government's roadmap out of lockdown.

The company said: "Not only is Twickenham the home of rugby union, but it's also about to be the home of our brand new 24 hour PureGym!

"Located in Twickenham town centre, PureGym Twickenham will offer members low-cost no contract memberships that give access to countless ways to workout.

"If you prefer to train your own way, you can take advantage of the wide range of state-of the-art kit. If you prefer to get moving with others, enjoy the fun and energetic gym classes included in your membership."
