The Thames flooded paths in Twickenham this weekend as the full moon brought in extremely high tides.

Locals were scrambling for pavement near the White Swan pub on Saturday afternoon.

Photographer Ruth Wadey was at Twickenham Riverside today (Sunday, February 28) when parts of the footpath completely disappeared.

She said: "How lovely to have a sunny afternoon with an extreme high tide to celebrate the last day of winter in Twickenham."

Tide levels are set to reach 5.2 metres by 4.35pm on Monday at Richmond Lock.
