Richmond Council has launched its annual Fuel Grant Scheme to help those struggling to pay fuel bills this winter.

Grants of up to £170 are now available from the Council to protect residents who are at risk of living in fuel poverty.

If you are on benefits or have a low income you may be eligible for help from the Council with heating bills, even if you are already receiving help from elsewhere.

Applications will be processed as they are received, and you will be notified if your application has been successful.

The closing date for applications is Friday 26 January 2024. Applications received after the closing date will not be processed.

You can apply online before midnight on 26 January. You will need to register online before you are able to make an online application.

If you are unable to apply online, you can collect an application form from your local library or from the Civic Centre.

Application forms must be received by 5pm on 26 January.

If your application is successful, payment to your Utility provider will be made in the week commencing 19 February.

Find out more about the Fuel Grant Scheme, including who is eligible and how to apply.
