Runners urged to sign up for Hampton Court Palace 10K
By Nub News Reporter 17th Feb 2026
Runners are being encouraged to lace up for the Hampton Court Palace 10K on Saturday, 14 March 2026.
The multi-terrain race, set within the grounds of Hampton Court Palace and along the Thames Path, will raise funds for The Felix Project.
Organised by RunThrough, the flat and scenic 10K blends palace views with riverside stretches, offering an achievable challenge for runners of all abilities, from first-timers to those chasing a personal best.
Matt Wood, Co-Founder of RunThrough, said: "The Hampton Court Palace 10K is a brilliant way to kick off the spring racing season.
"You get the unique atmosphere of running in a historic setting, a scenic route by the river, and a welcoming event day that suits everyone from first-time 10K runners to those chasing a strong time.
"We're proud to support The Felix Project and the vital work they do across London."
Participants will start within the palace setting before heading out on a largely flat course along the Thames Path, finishing with a memorable end to celebrate their achievement.
This year's event will support The Felix Project, a charity that tackles hunger and food waste across the capital.
The organisation rescues surplus food from the food industry that cannot be sold and would otherwise go to waste, redistributing it to hundreds of food banks, charities, primary schools and holiday programmes across London. Much of the food provided is fresh fruit and vegetables.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "The Felix Project is delighted to have been chosen as a charity partner for the Hampton Court Palace 10K.
"Being able to offer places at this iconic event is a huge opportunity not only to raise awareness but also much needed funds.
"People will come along and cheer on their friends and family and hear about our work to reduce food waste and use it to feed the many people across the capital who are experiencing hunger."
