A piece by Anne Newton, Richmond Chamber of Commerce chief executive and the deputy chair of London Chambers.

The pandemic lockdowns have left their mark on businesses and their people in all sorts of ways.

The Richmond Chamber of Commerce experts want to share resilience, mindfulness and wellness guidance to directors, managers and colleagues on how we can help each other and ourselves by:

  • building self-awareness and spotting the signs of stress, isolation, overload and imbalance;
  • intervening appropriately;
  • adopting resilient, on-trend best practice management styles and behaviours;
  • learning resilience skills, so new ways to counter stress and isolation for the future.

Our aim is to identify, rectify/heal, prevent and offer guidance on new and tested management and cultural behaviours that directors, managers and their people can perform consistently to achieve a much more resilient, balanced and healthy state of mind and of course these changes must include the leaders too who inevitably lead the way!

The objective is to ensure we are as 'match-ready' as possible come the economy reopening.

This seminar was developed for Discover Twickenham BID businesses and as such is free to their levy payers and to Richmond Chamber of Commerce members with subsidised purchasable tickets for all other businesses.

All are welcome. Twickenham BID Levy payers and Richmond Chamber of Commerce members have free entry and all others have access to subsidised tickets.

Chamber experts will guide business leaders and their teams on how to remain resilient and self-aware both now and in the future.

Learn best practice guidance and receive top tips from the chamber panel. See you there!

Online Chamber Resilience, Mindfulness and Wellness Seminar for businesses on Monday, March 29 at 2.30pm. Book your place here.
