Sensational strike from Twickenham School’s Lauren James seals England World Cup victory

Inspirational Lauren James scored a sensational goal from outside the penalty box to take England to victory this morning – Friday - over Denmark.
After the game, the former pupil at Twickenham School, told the BBC: "It was a dream and something I have been thinking about, but most importantly it I am just happy it helped the team to win.
"As soon as it hit the net it was a feeling of relief … I am just thankful I have got good people around me.
"I am calm on and off the pitch and I try to bring that to the game."
The 21-year-old has been an inspiration to pupils at Twickenham School, which has pictures of Lauren, who is the siter of Chelsea's Reece James, on its walls.
Lauren's goal was the only one of a nail-biting match which takes England to the verge of qualification for the next stage of the World Cup.
PE Teacher, Julie Johnson, recently told Nub News: "We are just proud she is getting to live out her dreams as she dedicated every inch of her soul to playing football at the highest level. She has earned every moment of her success and wish her luck on the big stage."
The delighted Twickenham MP, Munira Wilson, tweeted: "What a start for the @Lionesses! What a goal by
@Twickenhamsch alumnus @laurenjamess22!"
