Twickenham families are invited to take part in a free book giveaway for children this week.

Sponsored by FSG Estate Agent, the event is offering free books on a first come, first serve basis at Parsnips in the Park, Radnor Gardens.

In hopes of encouraging reading over the summer amongst 3-12 year-olds, FSG Estate Agent is hosting the book giveaway on Thursday, 27 August from 9am.

Founder of FSG Estate Agent, Fran Sturla, told Nub News: "Giving back to the community brings me so much joy.

"I am sponsoring another free children's book giveaway event because I truly believe reading is so important for young children.

"Books help children build confidence, develop their vocabulary, and express themselves both verbally and through writing.

"I'm so grateful to be able to play a small part in encouraging a love of reading and giving back to the community."

It will be first come, first served, with one book per child.
