'We need to protect High Tide's future' says Twickenham estate agent

Local estate agency FSG Estate Agent has renewed its backing for High Tide Festival following last weekend's event, as organisers make a final push to reach their £22,000 crowdfunding target.
The volunteer-run music festival returned to venues across Twickenham on Sunday 26 July, bringing thousands of visitors into the town to enjoy free live performances inspired by the area's rich musical heritage.
While this year's festival has now come to an end, fundraising continues for another 12 days, with the campaign standing at £20,002 at the time of writing.
Organisers are hoping to raise a further £1,998 to reach their £22,000 target and help secure the future of the event.
FSG Estate Agent, one of the festival's sponsors, is continuing to encourage residents and businesses to support the appeal.
Founder Fran Sturla said: "High Tide Festival once again showed what makes Twickenham such a special place. It brought together local businesses, musicians, volunteers and thousands of people from the community for a fantastic day of live music.
"We're proud to have supported the festival this year and we'd encourage anyone who enjoyed the event to consider making a donation. Every contribution will help protect High Tide and ensure it can continue to grow for years to come."
Festival organisers say the remaining funds will help support planning for High Tide 2027 and contribute towards safeguarding the community festival for future years.
Residents wishing to support the campaign can still donate before the crowdfunding appeal closes in 12 days.
