Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy an afternoon of summer entertainment at Twickenham Square, with a free BBQ and garden party taking place this August.

The event, organised by London Square, will be held on Saturday 15 August from 12pm to 4pm and will feature live music, lawn games for children, complimentary food and ice cream.

Former England rugby star Maggie Alphonsi MBE will also be joining guests at the event, offering visitors the chance to meet the sporting legend while discovering more about the new Twickenham Square neighbourhood.

Entertainment will include music from a DJ and brass duo, creating a relaxed summer atmosphere for families, residents and anyone interested in finding out more about the area.

Organisers said the event is open to everyone, whether they already live locally, are considering a move to Twickenham, or are simply looking for a free family day out.

The event is free to attend, but guests are asked to register their place in advance.
