Responsibilities include:
- Security
- Assisting with site security including the locking and unlocking of the school gates and buildings

AMS Office is Looking to expand our fast-growing practice with an enthusiastic and experienced Bookkeeper/ Accounts Assistant.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for the production of VAT returns, CIS return calculations and submissions, updating its own and clients cloud based accounting software and assisting other staff with the production of end of year financial statements.
Clients will typically be small limited companies with turnovers of between £100k and £3m, from a variety of industries.
Responsibilities include:
- Bookkeeping
- Management of incomplete records
- Preparation of VAT returns and filing with HMRC
- Preparing interim management accounts, to include a P&L and Balance sheet
- Resolving technical queries
- Assisting in the planning and management of workflow
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget

AMS Office requires an experienced Senior Accountant who has both exceptional interpersonal skills as well as substantial technical knowledge and the dedication to excel within its forwarding thinking firm.
In this varied role, success applicants will become responsible for a for a wide variety of clients, predominantly producing year end accounts, interim management accounts, corporation tax computations and returns and personal tax computations and returns, but sometimes needing to 'get their hands dirty' with bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS matters.
Clients will typically be small limited companies, partnerships and sole traders with turnovers ranging from £100k to £3m, from a variety of industries.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing annual statutory accounts for companies, sole traders, partnerships, LLP and Charity clients
- Preparing interim management accounts, to include a P&L and Balance sheet
- Visiting clientsMeeting all statutory and client deadlines as well as exceeding them
- Preparing tax computations (corporate and personal)
- To perform our own review and completion procedures, as well as attending the final client meeting and ensuring clients have received the final accounts and any opening balance adjustments
- Supervising and reviewing work carried out by more junior members of staff
- To oversee and contribute to the overall development of the less experienced members of the accounts team ensuring they are developed to their maximum potential

Teaching Assistant - £100 daily
A great School in Twickenham is looking for an experienced Teaching assistant to start as soon as possible within the specialist Autism Provision. This role is full time until at least July 2024 working with autistic children within the provision.
- One to one and small group work
- Enthusiastic and friendly Teaching Assistant
- Experience and knowledge of the autistic spectrum essential
- Long term Teaching Assistant role to start as soon as possible
- PECS and/or Makaton desirable
- Team Teach desirable
The successful applicant will be working in a medium-sized school with a large and well-resourced SEN provision. They have a number of statemented pupils who will require 1:1 support.
Previous training in alternative communication techniques such as PECS or Makaton would be advantageous to the role but not essential. It would also be desirable if applicants were to have Team Teach certification which we offer training for.
