Classic Album playback – Eel Pie Records Thursday Social

About: Kevin Jones, co-owner of Eel Pie Records, says: "Come and join me (Kevin) to hear two all time jazz classics played loud and on vinyl whilst enjoying chats and drinks. Needle drops at 7pm."

When: Thursday 1 August @ 7pm.

Price: Free entry.

RED SPEEDO

About: Written by Lucas Hnath and directed by Matthew Dunster. Ray lives to swim. He is within touching distance of Olympic glory and a life-changing sponsorship deal.

But everything changes when performance-enhancing drugs are discovered in the club's refrigerator.

As tensions run high, Ray's brother wants them destroyed, his coach wants to call the authorities, his ex-girlfriend doesn't want to know, and Ray wants the drugs back.

When: Multiple performances between Thursday 1 August and Saturday 10 August.

Where: 1 Clarence Street, Richmond, TW9 2SA.

Price: Standing tickets start from £15.

Stuck In The 70s

About: Are you stuck in the 70s? Feel good in flares? Like to walk tall on platform boots? Look glam in glitter? Then you need to come down to Teddington Constitutional Club this weekend.

Hosts Markus and the one-and-only Disco Sue will be on hand to take you right back to yesteryear, with around 300 vinyl to choose from each night.

Add in reasonably-priced drinks and £5 tickets, and you have yourself quite the night lined up!

"Dressing up not essential but positively encouraged," say the organisers.

When: Saturday 3 August @ 7:30pm.

Where: Teddington Constitutional Club, 5 Stanley Road, Teddington, TW11 8TP.

Price: £5 entry.
