1. Live Sport - The Turk's Head

Head down to the Turk's Head this weekend for all the sports action (credit: Cesar Medina).

About: The Turk's Head shows all the sports coverage from the biggest games so stop by so you don't miss a thing!

Tomorrow (Friday, 10 October) it will be showing the Premiership Rugby fixture between Sale Sharks and Newcastle Red Bulls at 7:45pm.

On Saturday, 11 October watch Bristol Bears vs Exeter Chiefs at 3pm, Northampton Saints vs Leicester Tigers at 3:05pm and Bath Rugby vs Gloucester Rugby at 5:30pm.

Sunday, 12 October sees Harlequins face off against Saracens at 3pm in the Twickenham Stoop.

2. House Special Curries - Namaste Village Twickenham

Try Namaste Village Twickenham's House Special Curries this weekend as part of National Curry Week (credit: Image supplied).

About: Namaste Village Twickenham is inviting diners to celebrate National Curry Week with a taste of its House Special curries.

To mark the nation's love affair with curry, the restaurant is showcasing three of its unique dishes: Baingan Bharta, Chick'n Achaari and Paneer Angara.

3. Concert for Mental Health

For World Mental Health Day a band is launching its new album here in Richmond (credit: Image supplied).

About: Progressive folk rock band, Kindred Spirit Band, will be performing their brand new, uplifting, mental health adventure, concept album, "The Journey Within", in its entirity, at this album launch concert.

The songs and artwork on this album were written and composed by band founder and singer / songwriter, Elaine Samuels.

Images from the album artwork will be projected behind the band, enhancing the lighting and atmosphere of the show on the night.

When: Friday, 10 October. Doors open at 7pm and show starts at 7:30pm.

Where: RHACC Theatre, Parkshot Centre Parkshot Road, Richmond TW9 2RE.

Price: Tickets £17 (plus online fee) or £20 on the door.

4. Richmond Jazz Festival

The best in Jazz is coming to Twickenham for one day this weekend (credit: Image supplied).

About: A one-day celebration of UK Jazz! Bringing the community together for a fun-filled day, featuring both emerging and established artists, as well as grassroots youth jazz.

Line up includes: Emily Saunders, Binker Golding Quintet, Tomorrow's Warriors Ankora, Ethan Osahn Quintet, Rosie Hollins and DJs - Vinyl Nights.

When: Sunday, 12 October, 1pm - 8pm.

Where: The Turk's Head, 28 Winchester Road, TW1 1LF.

5. The Local Mama Market

Join The Local Mama Market this weekend from Twickenmums (credit: Image supplied).

About: Twickenmums is bringing the community together this autumn with The Local Mama Market on Saturday, 11 October at St Mary's Church, Twickenham. 

When: Saturday, 11 October from 10am - 1pm.

Where: St Mary’s Church Twickenham.
