Orange Tree Theatre shares first rehearsal images from Strindberg’s Creditors

Richmond's Orange Tree Theatre has unveiled the first rehearsal images from Creditors, August Strindberg's darkly comic thriller, kicking off the theatre's autumn season.
The production stars Charles Dance, Geraldine James, and Nicholas Farrell in Howard Brenton's adaptation, directed by the company's Artistic Director Tom Littler.

This marks Littler and Brenton's seventh collaboration, following their critically acclaimed production of Churchill in Moscow earlier this year.
Creditors tells the story of Adolf, an artist hopelessly in love with his new wife, Tekla, brilliant, worldly, and unpredictably captivating.

When a persuasive stranger enters a quiet seaside hotel, the couple's fragile equilibrium begins to unravel.
As suspicion takes hold and loyalties crumble, the play delivers a chilling yet witty exploration of marriage, manipulation, and revenge.

Dance, James, and Farrell reunite for the first time since The Jewel in the Crown.
All three actors boast extensive experience with the Royal Shakespeare Company, while their television and film credits include Game of Thrones, The Crown, Downton Abbey, Anne with an E, The Iron Lady, and Chariots of Fire.

Tickets for Creditors are currently sold out. However, the Orange Tree's Friday Rush scheme offers a limited number of £15 standing tickets, released online at midday on the Friday before the following week's performances.
Members and Patrons also enjoy priority access to returns and additional releases.

For anyone hoping to catch what promises to be a mesmerising start to the season, remaining tickets may be released online in advance of performances.
