A care provider operating in Richmond and Twickenham has been recognised on a national stage after being shortlisted for a prestigious industry award.

Bluebird Care has announced that its Group Support Teams have been named finalists in the Head Office Heroes Award at the Stars of Social Care Awards.

The teams work across all Bluebird Care branches, supporting frontline staff by providing guidance, maintaining consistency and helping ensure high standards of care are delivered to clients every day.

The nomination highlights the often unseen work carried out behind the scenes, with a focus on collaboration, problem-solving and dedication across the organisation.

The Stars of Social Care Team Awards celebrate the contribution of care teams across the UK, recognising those who demonstrate compassion, teamwork and commitment in supporting vulnerable people.

Organisers say the awards shine a light on the "true stars" of the sector – the teams who go above and beyond through shared effort and dedication to make a difference in their communities.

This year's event is taking place on Friday, 8 May at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester.
