Twickenham pub from iconic A Hard Day's Night scene to host Beatles anniversary event

Twickenham pub and our partners, The Turk's Head, are set to host a Beatles themed event celebrating its album 'A Hard Day's Night'.

The Beatles with an A - A Hard Day's Night 60th Anniversary Show will bring classic tunes, a full showing of film 'Hard Day's Night' and free popcorn on Sunday, 1 December.

'Hard Day's Night' is the 1964 musical film the British band which features songs from the album with same title.

The movie also features a scene at the pub where Ringo Starr disrupts the shove ha'penny and the skittles whilst trying to buy a pint.

From 4:30pm - 6pm, the film will screen at The Turk's Head Twickenham which attendees can enjoy with free popcorn.

An interval is expected from 6pm - 7pm and then from 7pm - 7:30pm The Beatles with an A, known as the UK's number one Beatles tribute band, will perform.

The organisers say: "Get ready to sing along to all your favourite Beatles hits and immerse yourself in the nostalgia of the 60s. Don't miss out on this unforgettable event!"
