St Margarets Fair 2025 set to be 'bigger and better than ever'

One of Twickenham's biggest events, St Margarets Fair, returns to Moormead for its 46th edition this summer.
Organisers say this year's fair, taking place on Saturday, 5 July from 12pm to 6pm, promises "to be bigger and better than ever".
All fair-run stalls — including the bar — will be raising money for local charities and schools, allowing residents to enjoy a fantastic day out while supporting great causes.

There will be a full line-up of live music on the main stage throughout the day, showcasing local talent with a vibrant mix of performers of all ages.
Headlining this year's fair is London's brass sensation, Das Brass, known for their fusion of pop and funk classics reimagined with the flair of a traditional New Orleans horn section.
Organisers are encouraging attendees to bring picnic blankets, grab a drink from one of the stalls, and enjoy the genre-spanning music with friends and family — from Cuban-inspired Latin jazz and fresh indie by award-winning youth bands to garage punk from veteran local rockers.

More than 100 stalls will be selling a variety of goods, including craft items and artisan products. A wide selection of food vendors will be offering Asian specialities, pizza, and of course, burgers and hot dogs.
The famous beer tent will be serving a range of beers and ciders, located next to the Pimm's stall, with Prosecco also available.
The fair will also have The Tea Tent serving tea and cupcakes.

New for this year, St Margarets Fair will feature a special exhibition of vintage vehicles made in Twickenham, celebrating the area's historic role in the UK's motor vehicle manufacturing industry.
A selection of fairground rides will cater for all ages, and throughout the day there will be performances from local groups showcasing skills in karate, ballet, and contemporary dance.
Visitors can also enjoy traditional Morris dancing and even join in Zumba sessions.

In the morning, before the fair officially opens, organisers will host a five-a-side football competition for local junior teams.
And finally, considered the "highlight of the day", the ever-popular Dog Show returns — complete with the perennial favourite: "Whose dog won't eat the sausage?" competition.
