Health and beauty retailer Superdrug has officially opened a new store in Twickenham, creating 22 jobs and marking the brand's return to the town.

The new shop on King Street, which opened today (29 July), covers 6,759 sq ft and is significantly larger than the retailer's previous Twickenham branch.

The opening forms part of Superdrug's plans to launch 30 new stores across the UK during 2026 as the company continues to expand its high street presence.

Superdrug Twickenham offers a wider range of health, beauty and wellbeing products, including international beauty brands, Superdrug's own Studio London range, B. Skin, Me+, Vitamin E and Optimum products.

Customers will also be able to access a dedicated Beauty Studio offering treatments including eyebrow services, nail appointments and ear piercing, alongside an expanded premium fragrance range and Korean skincare brands including Biodance and Medicube.

To celebrate the opening, the first 100 customers through the doors received a goodie bag containing products worth around £100.

The branch will be managed by the same Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager who worked at Superdrug's previous Twickenham location on 1b King Street.

The new Twickenham branch also offers customers the chance to join Superdrug's Health & Beautycard and VIP Rewards scheme, which provides points on purchases, exclusive discounts and other member benefits.
