Borough chiefs are hosting a 'green' workshop today – Tuesday – to thrash out ideas to help residents live a more sustainable lifestyle.

Richmond Council is encouraging families, community groups, schools and business to join in a series of activities later this year to coincide with Richmond Great Big Green Week .

It might be a litter pick of a local park, an upcycling workshop, a street swap-shop or rewilding webinar – and the aim is to put together a programme full of a diverse range of accessible events across the borough.

A community workshop on Tuesday will bring people together to share ideas and find out how Richmond Council can support these initiatives to coincide with the Great Big Green Week, which will run from June 10-18.

It will take place at the Council offices in York House, Richmond Road, Twickenham, starting at 5.30pm.
