Team Richmond secures top four finish at London Youth Games 2024

Team Richmond have secured another top four finish competing against other boroughs at the London Youth Games. 

Throughout the year, Team Richmond took part in 26 competitions and enjoyed 18 top ten finishes. The team amassed 874 points to secure fourth place in the 2024 games.

The games have seen 250 athletes aged between 10 and 16 from across the borough take part.

The podium performances from Richmond were:

  • Kayak Sprint - Gold
  • Boys Athletics - Gold
  • Boys Judo - Gold
  • Girls Judo - Bronze
  • Boys Hockey teams - Bronze

The borough's para-athletes performed exceptionally well, finishing in sixth place in para-swimming and ninth place in Boccia.

Richmond also took a para-football team for the first time in years who competed.
