Visit the restored Marble Hill house and grounds today – Tuesday – as English Heritage celebrates the 120th anniversary of it being opened up to the community as a public park.

With children off school for the half-term there is a series of free events through the day including a picnic, storytelling, music, horse rides and much more!

There is a community picnic on the oval lawn; bring your own or buy refreshments, snacks and ice-cream from the popular café.

Enjoy storytelling with the local library, sweet music by St Margaret's Elastic Band, landscape walks with volunteers and horse rides by Operation Centaur.

Families can also play Pétanque in the nine pin bowling alley, take part in community games by the café and check out the photography exhibition spanning the last 120 years.
