The Club operates from the Prosperity café in Twickenham, which has been a hub for the mass collection of donations of vital supplies that have been shipped to those in need in Ukraine.

The event comes one day after many local Ukrainian children and their families attended the match at Wembley between Ukraine and the England team.

Hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of supplies, including medical items, clothes, sleeping bags and other esssentials have been collected, sorted and despatched by volunteers from the community.

People are welcome to attend the tree planting ceremony at Cambridge Gardens, on the banks of the Thames at Clevedon Road at 4.30pm.
