A date has been announced for the opening of a new pub on the former site of Roxie Steak & Tap in Twickenham.

Closed in 2019, the empty Roxie Steak & Tap site will be replaced with 'The Rose & Lion' in early June this summer.

2. Twickenham couple's bin fine overturned after dispute with council

Leon Wright, 40, returned from his honeymoon with wife Amy, 34, to find an enforcement notice had been posted through the letterbox of their flat in Twickenham, southwest London.

Their property falls under the jurisdiction of Richmond Council, who say residents should leave their bins on the pavement in colour-coded bags from 8pm the night before collection.

3. Twickenham residents raise health fears over 'unbearable dust' from London Square demolition site

Residents living near the former Greggs Bakery site in Twickenham have raised serious health concerns over the ongoing demolition work at the new London Square development.

The project, which will eventually see 116 new homes built next to the River Crane, has prompted complaints from neighbours on Gould, Crane, Norcutt, Edwin and May Roads, many of whom are worried about the level of dust and disruption being caused.
