South Western Railway (SWR) confirm trains are running as normal in Twickenham following "an operational incident" earlier today (Tuesday, 23 September).

The train network announced at around 10am this morning that trains would possibly be cancelled, delayed or revised because of the disruption.

Lines were reopened an hour ago at 12pm and SWR said: "Trains are now running normally following an earlier operational incident at Twickenham and there should be no further delays to your journey.

"If you were delayed by 15 minutes or more, you may be entitled to claim compensation."
